Saying Goodbye To Morning Breath And Gaining Confidence, CB12

*This product was sent to me for review; all opinions are my own and written with full honesty.

I’ve found myself focusing more and more on dental hygiene over the past year; are they white enough? Straight enough? But the one part that has always been a struggle for me is mouthwash. I have an extremely sensitive palette when it comes to food and drink and rinsing with mouthwash after brushing my teeth is something I do not enjoy. I even switched to kiddy mouthwash in hope that it would be less of a burn!  Then recently I was asked to try CB12.

I have seen this in the past when I have been perusing the aisles of the drugstore but I never knew what it was, and with it sitting in the high-end of the price spectrum, I wasn’t interested enough to take a gamble. I am so glad I was given the opportunity to try it, and now my oral hygiene routine has been changed for the better. I don’t care what you say; everybody gets morning breath!
I trialed CB12 overnight and also during the day, to test how it holds up when used in everyday life. Most of all how it would react to food, coffee and sleep.

Just to give you a little info about the product; CB12 claims to give you protection from bad breath by neutralizing bad odour for 12 hours binding with the lining of the mouth, teeth & tongue. It retails in drugstores for £14.99 and when used once a daily it works out at 30 pence per use, which is a very small price to pay for instance confidence.

One thing I will state is that CB12 is not a cure for poor dental hygiene. You need to be brushing, flossing and rinsing, morning and night and if you are using CB12 to mask the effects of rotting teeth or untreated dental problems; covering with a breath freshener is only going to worsen the problem in the long run. Get to your dentist and sort the underlying issue. However, if you’re like me and enjoying chomping down on full cloves of garlic; CB12 could be your saviour.

The Night Test;
Teeth brushed at 9.30pm and CB12 used. I instantly loved the taste it gave and it was automatic freshness. I slept in until 8.30am, consuming 1 pint of tap water during the night. I woke up and still felt fresh and when I did the breath test (lick the back of a spoon and smell, yum!) It was minty and fresh and like I had just brushed!

The Day Test;
When brushing in the morning I repeat the process. A busy day ahead; lots of talking, coffee drinking and various food consumption. 9 hours pass, I feel like my teeth need a brush and I could benefit from a chewing gum. I could still smell the fresh mint, but mixed with food, drink and a busy schedule – the odour defying force had started to struggle. I have seen that there is also a CB12 gum and this may well be the solution as you could top up on the go. It is all about being confident and CB12 could be the key to reaching that goal.

Please note that CB12 is a breath freshener and does not contain the properties of other mouthwash; no protection of the gums or against cavities, so for good dental hygiene, this will need to be paired with another product.

I myself wanted to combat morning breath and gain confidence when speaking face to face. I believe that this is the perfect product for just that. I will definitely be re - purchasing and look forward to trying the gum.

CB12 also have a super cool downloadable ringtone! To check it out pop over here.
